USS - my opinion

In some forex forums and mailing lists, there was a hot discussion few weeks ago about a system called USS. This system created by Malaysian Ustad. And to get this system, you must pay around 200$ for live seminar.

Few days ago, at WSS chatroom, somebody invited me to join the seminar. And of course, I want to see the portofolio first. Who want to buy a product without knowing its quality..

He and lot of USS alumnus claimed they got profit around 60 pips every day, on only one pair, EURUSD. Well, If we do a kindergarten math, 60 pips daily = 1200 pips per month per on average. If I trade 1 mini lot using 1k, then i can double my account every month. Well, Math is always interesting in forex.

Someday, EURUSD moves only 30-50 pips. And they still can catch 60 pips profit. Sounds incredible huh…

It is a trading history, which using USS strategy. Well, absolutely it is more than 60 pips profit. But after looking at date & time, I found that 60 pips is a scammer’s advertising fave.

At  around 22:04 Marketiva time, he opened 7 shorts and 6 longs. He calculated the pips from every position. All short positions opened at around same price, why doesn’t he open 1 short position with 2800 quantities at Marketiva (400 each x 7 positions)… and the profit just 5 pips instead 29 pips…

I guess they want to trap the newbie. While newbie see 60 pips profit everday, their eyes suddenly become green and dollars symbol appears on. C’mon guys, open your eyes… it just 5 pips !.

With same calculation method, I can say that I got 200 pips profit on a single news trade

Basically, this system seems do open a stop order, both for buy and sell 5 pips away from current price with 5 pips TP. And if a position get a big floating, it will hedged, probably with martingale or its variant.

Well, at the moment I have no interest to this system, except someone gives me it for free, I’ll learn and explore it. But if someone get listed on Forbes from this system, then surely I’ll get it for 200 bucks :D.
